If you were a 4-5* receiver...

The University of Iowa would be my first choice because Iowa has great facilities, great fan support, great atmosphere at Kinnick Stadium, and prepares players well for the NFL.

Kevin Kasper had a good career in the nfl in addition to getting a ton of receptions while playing wide receiver at the University of Iowa. Tevaun Smith is on roster with the Indianapolis Colts. A number of wide receivers have been targeted a lot while playing college football with the University of Iowa including Matt Vandeberg, Kevonte Martin Manley and Marvin McNutt in recent years. There is no proof that a capable wide receiver recruit could not succeed as a pass catcher at the University of Iowa and develop skills for the National Football League.

I would love to talk to Iowa's current receiving corps...to get their opinion on the game plan, play calling. That they are excluded amazes me.

How important is Oliver Martin to the long term viability of Kirkball?

Marvin McNutt holds a record at Iowa as a WR and couldn't stick with a NFL team. What does that tell ya? Pretty telling, IMO.
