Lose-lose situation if you ask me.
If we lose, well, no need to explain what'll happen on here.
Personally, if we win, two things come to my mind: 1.) "What could have been" will resonate, (and only proves we can get up once in awhile) and 2.) It's a very minor bowl nobody outside of Iowa/Mizzu will watch or care about. (no national gain)
It will be a bit of good news on a failed season. The real opportunity for happiness is closing out the recruiting season strong. That's still a possibility. How much do you over look what has happened this year? If KF can pull out a dominating win, does he gain back some respect in the Hawkeye Nation?
this
i will add tho to the OP about respect for KF- i haven't lost any respect for Coach Ferentz this season. Yes he and the staff made some mistakes this year, that doesnt change how great of a coach he is tho. Atleast not to me

Thanks Zaux. I'm not normally a bad-mouther (I think I at least try to be pragmatic), but this season was "lost" IMO after the NW and Minney games. It'll rank along side 97 as the most bird-dropping season ever.

Any positive news I think would be good news at this point.
