You mean like the Ohio State game last year? Or Penn State, for that matter?

I don't think anyone expects a win, but come on, stranger things have happened.
 
If we lose the Penn State game and no others, I put our chances of going to Indy and about 35-40%. If we happen to win them all, i put them at 95%.
 
I think if we can take care of business vs. Indiana, Illinois, Maryland and Nebraska we have a good chance. We have revenge factor for motivation vs. Northwestern, Purdue, and Penn St. There is a possibility that we can still lose to Penn St. and still win the West. The real question is... Is Wisconsin good enough and motivated enough to execute week in and week out because they are the team that has a target on their back. They are going to get every teams best shot.

When was the last big upset on the road? Do we have to go all the way back to PSU in 2009? MSU in 2010 (not sure the spread on that one)?

I think Wisconsin was a six to seven point favorite in 2015.

It depends on whether or not you would consider that a big upset.

It obviously wasn't an upset, but in the 2015 Black Friday game at Nebraska we were actually slight underdogs at 11-0.

It goes to show that we had a hard time earning respect that year and also how quickly times have changed.

Now that the worm Myers is done protecting his women beating coaches he is sure to remember a certain ass whipping he got the last time he was in IC.

Not 100% sure it will be Ohio State. Watch out for Michigan; they are really playing much better.
 
One week at a time folks. We are pretty darn beat up on the defensive side of the ball especially and playing at Indiana won't be the picnic we'd all wish it'd be... Seems like they always play us tough along with Northwestern and Purdue.... I can't sit here and say from what we've seen this year that I can expect Iowa to run through that gauntlet unblemished the rest of the way. I sure want to see it but it'd be pretty impressive if they do regardless of what the national pundits may think.
 
Just have to take it one game at a time. Have to beat Indiana. Michigan needs to beat Wisconsin. Then it is on to the next week. But, if you are playing the look ahead game, any team is your best friend playing against Wisconsin, especially Michigan, Penn St, Purdue, and Northwestern.

I'm really looking forward to watching the Wiscy-Michigan game.....that is only if we take care of business vs. Indiana. Lose that game and I'll find something else to do Saturday night.

Indiana's gonna be a tough out, so is Purdue and Northwestern for that matter. Seems dicey we'll really be in contention for the West come the end of November.
 
Ya’ll are delusional. Iowa could be looking at 4 straight losses. 3 of the next 4 on the road.

Indiana
Penn State
Maryland
Purdue

The only reason to have any faith against Maryland is cause it’s at home.
 
Wisconsin has a good chance of losing this week and to Penn State. I also think that they will have trouble with Purdue and Northwestern.

That said, Iowa's chances at Penn State a very low. I won't say that can't win, just that it would be a huge upset if they did.

Iowa has to win this Saturday's game. And win out out or there is no chance at the championship game. The season is a lot tougher now that Iowa has so many players injured on defense. Games that were lock's are now up in the air.

Penn State is overrated. All teams are banged up this time of the year. Like casualties in a war. It's an equation of contact with the enemy. This team needs to concentrate. Concentration is often easier on the road. I'm reserving judgment of this team until after Saturday. IU will likely be wanting to beat Iowa more than PSU. For IU it's a signature win if they do so. PSU would see a win as not a big deal. NW will be a big test, but they may be too banged up by then if BF decides not to pound the box all game.

Gotta hope Franklin coaches his way out of a victory and gives it to Iowa. Not implausible.
