And look real impressive in doing so. How many teams do we jump in the AP and coaches assuming teams in front of us also win?

I think we'd move to 7th, jumping Florida, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.
 
I may be really pessimistic but something inside me tells me that Iowa would jump about 1 spot because we just aren't as "sexy" as the other programs, no matter how dominating a performance we could put on.

I don't think thats being too pessimistic I think you hit the nail on the head with Iowa just not having the "sexiness" aspect to it.
 
I agree with most of the above posters. I don't think that we will jump anyone, maybe 1 team max. The name 'Iowa' just doesn't carry the same weight as the name 'Oklahoma'. Thats just the unfortunate reality of how the human voters work.
 
Nebraska is at Washington, not sure who Oklahoma and Florida play. Whether or not Iowa moves up at depends on what the teams in front of them do.
 
I don't think Iowa will jump anyone. Just be patient and let the season play out. If we take care of business, odds are teams ahead of us are going to drop at some point. This is what makes this run great!
 
One of Florida/Nebraska will lose this weekend....Florida plays Tennessee and Nebbie plays Washington.
 
Think of who Arizona has played so far. I think they are over rated. There offence won't be able to do the things they did against Toledo and Citadel. And there defense will get a test.

I think since iowa played a decent they are a little more ready. Also i think it helps that as of now iowa isnt favored Zona is. Thats gotta make the iowa team hungry to kill them.
 
These polls right now don't mean a whole lot. As long as we keep winning, come Oct when the bcs polls come out, the computers will force people to seriously take a look at us. That's how we cracked the top 5 last year. We just need to hope that OSU keeps winning as well. then the winner of our game against them in Nov will get a ticket to the NC.
 
All we need to do is win and that is all we can control. The rest will take care of itself.
