Dude has never been a HC at the D1 college level. That'd be dangerous. Now if you're talking being an OC I'm all ears for it. I know there's been some back and forth in the NFL on him and why he's not gotten HC offers but regardless he's been under Andy Reids wing for awhile now and that's good enough for me. So if he'd like to be an OC under the name I'm about to suggest I'd be all about that.

If we are playing the pro to college card the name I'd throw out there would be be Jim Caldwell. I don't think he'd be up for it but I think he's an often ignored name that would do a good job. If say Parker would want to retire about the same time as KF and not want to work under a new HC then promote Woods to be DC and keep the good times rolling. He can keep grooming under Caldwell till he takes over. Because I have a hard on for coach Woods I think he'd be perfect for the long term of the program

Not trolling or making light of it, but I would take Woods over Bielema due to the simple fact that if Bielema doesn't lose 100 pounds ASAP the guy will very likely be dead inside of 10 years.

Yeah dude doesn't look good at all... Has a beautiful family. They had his young daughters on the field after game. I'd hope he might start working on his heath cause he and Mark Mangino couldn't share a seat on a bus together.

I would not mind a Bielema or a Stoops as a caretaker for the program for several years (maybe longer depending on Bret's health and which Stoops) and then handing it off.

I like the young talent in Woods. Everything Woods touches turns to gold. If only he had a bridge job... Like say OC, on a perennial division power, with a struggling offense. Gee... if only I knew such a program.
