I'd like to see Iowa win the Insight Bowl by 1.

A loss would be just one more bitter pill on this already most bitter of years. A big win would leave the fans with a "where was that all season" feeling, again, leaving a bitter taste that like performances during the year would have led to a truly memorable season. If I could dial it up, a 1 point win would be just the right dose of medicine for this team and fanbase, I think. However, with this year's team, who knows what type of performance we'll see.

There's a phrase from a DeNiro movie, A Bronx Tale - "wasted talent". That, to me, sums up this year. Here's hoping they can get it together one last time.

I would like to see the Hawks win by 35, like I hope every game.

Then again, unlike most people here, I support the team.

We already have the "where was that all season" moments. I would be happy to have another one.

Don't kid yourself Jesus. Everyone here supports the team (except the interlopers of course). Some people just like to break things down a little more than, "Go Hawkeyes", "Iowa is the best no matter how much my eyes are telling me differently!", "The NCAA tourney is only 2 seasons away!" all of the time.

i don't consider it support when after one loss, people are calling for the benching of seniors to prepare for next season

i don't consider it support when people are ready to fire ferentz after this season

i don't consider it support when people say the team sucks after losing to minnesota

no cliche, not everyone here supports the hawkeyes all the time. don't kid yourself or anyone else here. some people are very good at riding the bandwagon, and are equally as good at throwing the team under the bus.

a win is a win is a win, but it would be fun to see the hawks beat down the tigers by 87 points

If a coaching change is what someone feels is best for the program, how is that not support?

If the team plays like crap and loses to Minnesota while making some think they weren't fully putting out, how is supporting that and being positive about it supporting the team?

We all want the team to win, the different opinions about how we should get there are what makes this site interesting and entertaining.

Wanting the jersey that says "Hawkeyes" to win while throwing individuals under the bus is hardly "supporting".

Thats the problem every piece of constructive criticism is perceived as "throwing someone under the bus". Being critical and using data to back up that criticism is not throwing someone under the bus.
