I went back and re-watched the Iowa vrs Iowa state game from last year. I was pleased with how well Cade looked in that game even though he was hampered with some injuries.

Even though he was hampered he still looked better than anything we had had at the QB position in some time. I am really excited to see him at 100 percent this season and with Lester’s new offense.

I know many are concerned about him getting re-injured but the key to avoiding that is proper conditioning and strengthening. It sounds like those who have been working with him know what they are doing so this really could be a surprising year for the Iowa offense if “POPs” will just stand back and let Lester truly run the offense rather than “POPs” running Lester.
