I would like to apologize

To all the fans non the board for my drunk posting last night and for my hangover posting today. Cibula11 I would also like to apologize to you. I understand that this was a hard loss for all of us to handle. Just got done with a nice long shower and popping 4 IBU's and I'm ready for the day.

Last night's loss was not how we would expect a Ferentz coached team to perform. We had so much stacked against us and it was very hard for those young me to overcome it but I applaud them for giving one hell of an effort to try. With losing your D-coordinator, playing in 90 degree weather, 2,000 miles away from home, and playing until after 1 am, it is very hard to focus with those odds against you. I for one hope we never play another game in Arizona again until November and it is in late afternoon when we can actually focus and breath.

Looking at the rest of the schedule, I really think we can fix the issues we had last night and contend for a big ten title. I believe Arizona may have just awoken a sleeping Giant and the rest of the Big Ten beware because the Hawks are coming to take the league by storm.

I'm sure there are plenty of people in your situation.

Ever had a hangover without having consumed alcohol the night before? That is kinda like I feel today - but mine is more of an emotional hangover.

Also - sidenote and not to derail your thread - but to all those who said 'heat would play no factor', etc. 90 degree heat, 90 degree dry heat that feels like an oven - really takes it out of you. I remember the first time I experienced it - I thought the air was just sucked out of my lungs when I entered that type of air. Honestly felt like walking into an oven.

Not sure what you said but - I think we all realize people just need to sometimes blow off steam. Cool of you to post though.

Apology accepted. At the end of the day we're all Hawkeyes. Let's move onto Ball St. and the Big 10.
