I was sure this team had quit

Mac, I think we both owe Vandy an apology. I was just about ready to post a thread in the 4th quarter about owing you an apology and how I was wrong about Vandy and you were right(thank God I didn't). I think we can agree now that this kid is a gamer. D stepped up when they had too late and the Iowa receivers were awesome as well. Unbelievable come back.

Eddy P he did get hot and showed that he could prove me wrong, but I am not ready to apologize yet. I am very stubborn.

He is a winner Mac. I think the difference from this week to last(other than the game being at Kinnick) was that the coaches took the shackles off him(because they had too being down 17 with 10 minutes left) and the D stepped up when they had to=win. No one has thrown for 400+ yards since 1983(Chuck Long), Vandy threw for 399 yards and 3 TD's today.

I cant call him a winner yet. He still has no road win. If he can get us to 7 wins and a bowl win. I will call him a winner. I know he cant do it all by himself, but he has to set the tone for the rest of the team.
