JVB has done nothing this year to warrant not having an open competition.

Won't happen, even if it's deserved.
After all, you can't simulate whether another QB could play better on the road until you actually play the road games.
And I see no reason whatsoever why things will get any better on the road with JVB next year after he's showed no progress in that area between @ISU and now @Nebraska.

I think Rudock will take over the #2 QB spot next year. And if JVB struggles at all, fans and media will be screaming for him to get his shot.

How can a team not be stoked about playing Nebraska to finish the season? How can you just walk out onto the field lifeless and not even try? Why not do something? This is a lack of leadership...

Vandenberg will start every game next year barring injury. He's not as bad as many are making him. It's tough to be a decent quarterback in this offense with this offensive coordinator and a running game that cannot effectively run outside the tackles.
