I think we'll have a legit chance to play in the conference title game in 2011.
We will have a heck of an offense - we will have Vandenberg at QB, we return 4/5ths of the offensive line, McNutt will be our #1 WR (Davis will pry be #2), hopefully CJF comes into his own at TE, and we'll return every RB that gets carries this season.
Obviously our defense will need to reload, but we'll have guys like Binns, Mike Daniels, Tyler Nielsen, Tyler Sash, Shaun Prater, & Micah Hyde coming back to anchor the D.
The top 3 teams on our schedule will be Nebbie, PSU, & Michigan....if we can beat those 3 teams, we'd put ourselves in a great place to be in the conference title game. Michigan likely won't be great next season & Nebbie's schedule is brutal (they play Wiscy, PSU, OSU, Iowa, UM, MSU)- Iowa will be in a great position to make the title game in 2011 if our offense is as good as I think it will be in 2011.
