I think denver is in for a big dissapointment.

Montana doesnt belong on that list. He had a couple of good years with KC. The rest is spot on.

Montana did okay with the Chiefs, but he wasn't close to the level he was at with the 49ers.

I just looked up Joe Montana stats, and here's an interesting one: in his final 10 years in the NFL, Montana never one time played 16 games, though he played all the games for which he was eligible in the strike shortened 1987 season.

Wow pretty crazy how we can judge a whole players upcoming season in one "preseason" game. I think the OP is in for a big dissapointment.

ohhh of course he wasnt the same, but he had a few nice seasons. i think he even snuck in a playoff win in there.

manning on the other hand looks like hot garbage thus far.

Montana led KC to the AFC title game in '93 and to the playoffs in '94.

Dude, its not like he just looks rusty. His velocity is down considerably from before the injury. Arm strength isnt something that typically improves as the season goes on.

What is the difference in velocity mph pre and post surgery??

Or is this just the Duff half drunk Saturday night eye test?

Just curious duff, where or what channel did you get to see the entire bronco game on, or are you going off of some stat line and selective plays you saw on sports center? First drive was right down the field with the 1st unit I thought.

Let's not forget that Joe Montana led the Chiefs to a victory in 94 at ArrowHead against SF with steve young at the helm.

Only one question needs to be asked & answered here: will teh bronco be better this saison with p manning at qb than they were last year with teblow?

I know the correct answer. Not sure duff does.
