I still really like this team. Not giving up on them.

I wish somone from the media would have the guts to ask him if the late losses will eventually cost him the job. Get him really hacked him off, motivate him to work on this. Hell, sit someone down at end of game, telling him it's because their FT shooting sucks.
 
13 missed free throws... 15 minutes without a goal.....chance to win in regulation.......chance to tie in overtime....are you kidding me.....and I actually lost sleep last night because I was so excited for these guys to stomp the stuffing out of those @@@@@@$. Won't ever happen again. I can't ever remember such a lousy offensive showing. Good grief!

MSU was a shell of itself tonight. Payne and Dawson were obviously out, and Harris had an off night. We shot 23 more free throws and made 19 more. I'm sorry, but I have a hard time finding a legitimate reason to be optimistic about future games against the top teams when we couldn't win this one on our own floor.

However you want to spin it. It was just awful period! Don't give a rat's butt about licks teams I only care about this team and this team is not progressing!

Agree with your title and your post. Frustrating loss, as the others this season have been. It was there to be had. Mistakes were made, those can be corrected. Even in a loss, this team did some really nice things last night. There were some stretches where they played the best team and individual defense I've ever seen in college basketball. They held their own with an extremely talented, typically physical Michigan State team.

Just as Jon flushed an ugly, invective-charged game thread within an hour or so of the final horn last night, let this turd bowl of a game flow through all of us collectively and move forward. Still much basketball to be played (and enjoyed.)
 
I have only seen one poster say they are done and he is pretty much 50/50 in regards to being an Iowa fan and ISU fan.
