with the team and coaches. Nothing worth while comes easy. Hard work beats talent. Well, GET TO WORK!.
I want to see some hard hitting ball Sat. If you have given 110% (lifting, studying plays, practicing, in all areas) nobody can ask for more and really the kids and coaches have to answer that question for themselves. KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT you gave 110% and no matter the score I will applaud you when you walk off the field. Don't leave anything on the turf. BLB (be like Bob).
On Iowa, go get em.
 
I have faith. I have faith that Ball and Rex each just need one good shot (not that I wish that on anyone). I have faith that if Rex and Ball both play Sat. one of them will be out for awhile if not the year. I have faith that OSU is over rated and has not shown anything but the Miller show. I have faith that Wisky and MSU have new qb's. I have faith Wisky will not improve as much as needed on the OL.
I have faith our OL can improve faster then any other B10 team. I have faith in Bullock, Mark and Garmon as a running game. I have faith that our D is going to get better and find the motor to get some pressure and the back side is going to be able to bring the hard hits every single play.
I have faith that while we need A LOT of work, we are still in this. NU and Minny are not going. Nebraska is going to be tough but like so many teams these days they hang their hat on very few players and not the team as a whole.

I think they've got the horses on offense to put up points ..lots of points - just got to get on the same page, assimilate the system and they'll produce. Hope they do.

Not hardly. I am very very hard on people. I recently told some people I had just met, if you are not making yourself better or someone else better what good are you? Then again your talking to a 40 something year old who hears a Iowa back does 100 push ups a night and says I can do that and started working out until he could do it again. Why because screw him thats why. I may be twice his age, but if he wants to pump his chest out, he wont be doing it around me. Save the yap and hit the gap, thats what I say.

Someone said run thru a brick wall, well thats what it takes. You cant teach that. Some people have it and some dont. When you get to be my age, you have less time to give, so you refine your skills on finding those who are most like yourself.

I like your attitude ,I have been telling people , it's not talent , it's pure bodyslamming attitude. let's go hawks you got WILD BULL PUMFUS ATTITUDE. WOOOOWOOOOO!
 
The Dude abides. I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners.

Everyone knows where I stand. Not sure they know why, but these new assistants get three years. What I'm hoping for, after we have another inevitable run eventually, is more consistently in down years, not being so down.

Not to nit pick...but it's "Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard". Talent, creativity and aggressiveness actually win more often. (because other teams work hard too) So hard work alone...ain't enough...as we've come to learn.

And FWIW...I'm an "old dude" too.
