I predict we will finish...

If the next 6 opponents play horribly the Hawks will go 6-0. That seems to be the winning formula for the season. March Madness here come the Hawkeyes, get out the chips and salsa for selection Sunday.
 
Predicting how this team will finish is completely pointless.

Just when you think they've collapsed, they play two great games. Just when you think they've turned the corner, they go into the tank against 2 crappy teams.

Prior to the Michigan game, it looked like they'd probably go 2-2 over the next 4 games, and they did exactly that - except they went WWLL instead of the LLWW.

So I'm sure they'll probably win a few more, lose a few more and finish somewhere around 9-9. A first round loss in the BTT, and probably an opening round loss of whichever tourney they get invited to.

Does it really even matter at this point? Does anyone actually believe this team will go on a run in the post-season?

I don't.

It matters to me. I will watch every game they play the rest of the year...regular season and postseason. I won't see White or Olaseni in an Iowa uniform again after this year. So...Yes it does matter to a lot of us.

I hope you are not right, but we have seen this rodeo before. The Big Ten just isn't that good, so 3-3 should be the absolute worst record. I wouldn't bet 50 cents however

It's all good. Winning is very therapeutic.
