I Oliver commits

That didn't take long.

Just saw on X that Isaiah Oliver committed.

You kind of always suspected that he wanted to be a Hawk. He got that PWO offer and he's in. I'd say this is a solid commit.

Awesomeness. Kinda surprised he wasn't getting scholly offers he looks like a legit D1 athlete to me. Bet that makes his Dad happy too.

A bitt curious why he only got a PWO and not a full scholly but that can always be converted.

I'd guess his blood bleeds black and gold.

Olivers dad Dean being in the DSM area is pretty cool. I'd thought how cool would it be if say he and Horner woulda ended up on Bens staff. The two Mason City hoopers who both committed to Iowa their freshman yrs of HS. Obviously it's not gonna happen just a cool thought.

In this new era, he will get a cut of the direct payments from the House settlement to my understanding. He can also collect some NIL money, but that is trickier now. With the roster limits, a PWO spot is nothing to sneeze at. This isn't the era of Rudy when you could have tryouts and keep as many kids as you want. They must think he can develop into something.
