I never can sleep the night before games I attend

I think I average 2 or 3 hours of sleep on these occasions. Alarm is set for 4:45am. I already packed everything, went to the store for tailgate supplies, cleaned out the car, washed it, and picked up the house to help wear me out.

Here is hoping for a restful night for once!

I should clarify, it's only for the 11am kicks. I have the similar thing the night before early flights.

It's not nerves for the game. It's the slight fear I'm going to oversleep.

I've heard they make some pretty decent alarm clocks in these new-fangled times we live in.

This reads like something I would have posted. Got the car packed; alarm set for 4:40 a.m.; and can't sleep a fricking wink! :)

Oh well ... I know when I get home tomorrow night I will be zonked out by 10 p.m. ... Go Hawks!

I'd be lying if I said I've never slept through/shut off the alarm in the morning. It does happen occasionally.
Well, I've set it wrong once and failed to turn it on another time, but I've NEVER slept through it, and shutting it off in the morning is just irresponsible. Crank that irritating beep up and I don't see how you could ever sleep through it.

Afraid to oversleep? You are, worst case, arriving to tailgate 5 hours before kickoff. Something tells me that if you sawed off a few extra Z's, you would make it in time!

What in the hell has happened to you man? The old Ghost would have teed off on this guy. Pull yourself together.

When that happens (it's not often, but it has happened), it's usually when I was flat out exhausted when I went to bed. I'll clearly remember setting it, but I don't remember shutting it off. I set it to go off early enough that it doesn't make a big difference, and I wake up on my own in time to be where I need to be on time.

Hell, during finals week in my first spring, I was cramming until 5 am for a 7 am history exam. I knew I wouldn't wake up to my alarm clock or my cell phone on just an hour and a half's sleep. So I had my girlfriend call my wall phone, figuring there would be no way I could sleep through that (it was about as loud as the fire alarm in the building).

She had to call twice. I didn't even hear the first one.

But, I got to my exam, and I got an A.

He's running some sort of "I'm a reborn xtian and I'm nice now" schtick, but it is moving glacially and quite frankly it is a total fail.
I mean, his weak-azz posts over the past 3 months have obviously been for set-up, but the punch should have happened already. No timing whatsoever.
Dude has clearly lost his game.
