Seriously you need to get the eating fixed before working out. They'll only fail otherwise.
Eat only 2x a day with 16 plus hours between the last and the first.
Get a blood sugar meter and see what you react with several times a day.
Cut the carbs. Lot's of vegetables.
Consider non gmo and organic. Seriously.
Cut sugar. Cut any fruits that skyrocket your blood sugar.
No juice and little dairy. Lot's of water.
Getting your eating under control first is for several reasons.
You can't exercise of weight very well.
If you stress your body you will want to eat and that is the issue to begin with.
Anybody that weight and height is fat.
You do know a lot of stuff about a lot of things it would seem. Coaching, refs, basketball, Russian oligarchs, and nutrition to name a few?
What don't I know about nutrition? I'm 5-10 and 165. Younger brother has had triple by pass and both parents died young.
You are too funny. Blood sugar usually in 80s. BP 115/75. I have a runners resting hear rate, but with my knee I can't run anymore so I bike.
I don't see any problems with spicing things up. The forum would dry up without converstations.
Yes I do know about Russians. I've coached high school sports. I've even refed and bumped an official as a coach in anger..
I"d bump you but I'd rather drive you nuts.![]()
Have a person, I want to get back one into shape. I don't understand what this means
Actually two.
6'1 to 6'3 280- 325 range.
I have to buy a couple shirts, maybe about 10-12. Good Iowa shirts.
Work out to take out. what does this mean?
Where would a man have this done? have what done?
I can't size these dudes. Big is all I know.

I was half-joking/half-serious. You do seem to know a lot of stuff. Keep it coming, no problem here with that.

I'm guessing that @4thngoal was heavy in the sauce when he posted these (they have that sort of drunk "twang" to 'em), and he's either embarrassed or still hungover since he hasn't been back to post since.
Come on back man, and don't feel awkward. If the HN board isn't the Island Of Misfit Toys, I don't know what is.

Is it all about food. You can't "outwork" a bad diet. Ditch the sugar, stick with whole foods.
But 16 hours between meals?! Eat at 630AM and 1030PM? Never heard that approach
Yea, can't a guy throw a celery or two or perhaps some broccoli down between there at some point? I see the logic though, limiting carbs and calories and having the activity between the two times trump the calorie intake, even if just living the normal routine.
I can find ways to live on 100-200 calories for a lunch, eating vegetables, canned beets, celery, carrots, etc..
It's all about proportion and being disciplined to start. I suppose should actually weigh portions and and limit meat to 6 oz portions. People really need to stop eating until they are full. That is bad.
