Sorry to all the NU fans out there, but this is the reason you are viewed as an arrogant fanbase. I know all of you aren't like this, and every team has there own, but it doesn't help when the new kid in a new school helps put a target on his back.

I have never said that we will roll through the conference, but I have said that I don't think that there is a game on the schedule that we don't have a shot at winning. If things fall right, who knows what will happen.

Maybe I'm missing something, but is there something wrong with having confidence in your team or being optimistic?

I think you misunderstood my sarcastic post. I'm a Hawkeye, through and through, and judging by your comment, I have grown similar feelings toward our new arrogant rivals. I think Nebraska fans have the attitude that the Big Ten will be a cakewalk, and they may be in for a rude awakening before this season is over.

I have to say that I agree with this statement. I love my Hawks and it's fanbase. I know that 98% of the Iowa fan base is pretty level headed and humble, but if you guage from mesage boards and call in shows alone that 2% is awfull loud anymore.
