For the first time since Horner, Brunner, etc, I actually know and care about Iowa Basketball!. Even though Alford was a D Bag, it was still Iowa basketball. My first memories of being 5 years old in the old field house( behind a steel column, and everyone chain smoking),I'm once again excited for Iowa basketball!! I believe the next 3 years will have the Hawkeyes in at least the Sweet Sixteen. (White reminds me of Matt Bullard. Mr. Inside - Outside!!)

I know two or three years ago I don't know if I made an effort to watch them period. Now I'm watching everygame and even online when BTN is being ghey.

Me to, during the Lick years I watched the games as a loyal Hawk fan but was usually sleeping by halftime. Now even when they lose they are fun to watch. The only game to bore me this year was Clemson when they could not hit the broad side of the barn with their shots. But amazing turn around and it is only going to get better and more fun to watch.

I still stuck through it near the end of the Alford tenure and the Lick years, but basketball slowly became different to me. I never looked forward to the games like I used to and found myself not watching entire games. Iowa just seemed overmatched and helpless a lot. I thought Lick's win over Michigan State at home was a turning point, but it proved to be a false idol. The brand of basketball just became boring and it was time to move on from Lick.

Fran has changed my opinion of Iowa basketball. He in bringing in talent and his kids are winning. It's also nice to see Carver getting loud and growing in attendance. I like the direction of Iowa basketball.

i used to attend few games every year til cigar lighter, i never went i cant stand slow ball.
i went few games last year and i couldnt this year because my health

Yeah I watched every game that was on TV during the LICK era and during the Alford era and listened to every game that wasn't on TV during those eras. Also was able to attend games as well. Iowa basketball never changed for me as being a fan of my team.
