on Thanksgiving weekend. I don't ever remember the Hawks playing on Thanksgiving weekend except for the isu game in 2001. That is going to make Thanksgiving even better this year.

Get used to it. We'll be playing the weekend after Thanksgiving for the foreseeable future since they installed the mandatory bye week into the schedule. Unless something changes with the addition of Nebraska next year, that remains to be seen.

No. I sure hope they never do that. A lot people work that Friday (myself included). I don't want Iowa ever playing on any day but Saturday.

What a day it would be. Waking up at 3AM for Christmas shopping, tailgating and Iowa football...minus the 3AM waking up for shopping.

That would be perfect! There are not that many games scheduled that day and there isn't much to do. Unless you are one of those fools(unfortunate ones) that heads(gets dragged) to the mall, there isn't squat to do.

More and more people have that day off anymore, if there was an Iowa game scheduled it would become the permanent holiday that it should be!
