I have literally never been more disappointed in my entire life.

Had to bump this thread. Just to get off the loss yesterday for awhile. I looked at this thread and almost everybody that posted on it is gone. I always thought fans who follow college teams stayed fans for life. I think those who follow pro teams follow players more and change teams if players leave. I'm wondering why people leave message boards. I could understand if it was cyfan where mob mentality rules. Any ideas?

Since you're trying to "get off the loss", I won't suggest KF has bored the passion out of fans.

I clicked on 4 different names from the thread, and 2 of them were "last seen" today. Not gone so much as not posting. Again, not suggesting KF._._.

This is still the most disappointing loss of the KF era for me.

I had such high hopes for this team and this game was a sign of things to come. Add on that I absolutely hate Wisconsin and how big of a win it was for them it was a recipe of shit. I can't remember being as pissed off and disappointed after a loss as this one.

When your watching a Hawkeye game and the announcer comments on the lack of enthusiasm and energy on the sidelines, it's obvious that the team has given up. When the coach is the only one showing any emotion, and that coach is Kirk, the team has left the building.

Put in the backups. Get ready for next year. Don't know what happened this year, but there is obviously some cancer going on in the locker room. The seniors have enough tape to shop for their next jobs, lets get the underclassmen some experience.

I agree. There are zero leaders on the team. The sideline looked like a funeral.

Defense was really bad yesterday. but they've played "well enough" to have been 7-1, maybe 8-0 going into this game, if we had even aN average offense...just average.

Imagine being on this defense and just knowing you have to hold every decent team under 14 points to win, then watching your offense go on the field for 2 minutes...then trotting out to the 50 yard line being told "get us the ball back", so we can punt again in 2 minutes.

Again, defense was abysmal yesterday, but I am still more pissed about having ZERO offense.
