I got this email from an ISU fan...what should I email back?

Look at the big brain on Cy17! Trying to play the high road card. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I will enjoy the win, thanks. But that's not what I am doing. In fact, look back and see if I have boasted once about beating OSU on this message board.

I think taking the high road is the right thing to do. It will **** off the Cyclone fan more than you coming back with a smart *** comment. That will be exactly what he/she wants. Just say congrats and you won't have to listen to the fan boast.

I guess I took it as this dude "called" it and the other guy told him he was wrong? But yeah, it's dumb.

That might be the case here, but i hear it all the time. Middle aged fat men congratulating another middle aged fat man on the win. WTF? You make yourself look pathetic.

Tell him you are not friends with cyclones and you are deleting him from your contact list. If he emails you again you file a harrassment lawsuit.

nah, i kid, i kid. even after getting fired by ISU about a month ago, just take the high road, a quick, "nice job" or "congrats" and that ISU turd will see that he can't get your goat and probably wont even bother boasting to you anymore.

NOw if it's an actual ISU employee boasting, kick him in the dick, seriously, i hate ISU with a passion.

Say "congrats on the win"

That's what an adult would say. Doesn't sound like the person who emailed you ripped on your team or was boasting to much. Pretty typical of what you would hear from any fan of any team after they was predicted to win 2 games and just had a historic win.

Have to agree with Cyclones17 on this one. Can't believe I just said that.

Well, after they was predicted to win two games and all...

You know you love me :D

And yes, that was a bad job with grammar outta me

Truth is, I really have lost my disdain for Iowa State. I cheered for ISU vs. the Pokes this week. I didn't do that in the past.

That's probably related to my current residence (Madison, WI). I like Rhodes, and seeing ISU succeed isn't a bad thing from my viewpoint.

Iowa will continue to be a solid program, and ISU will likely challenge Iowa more often than they have in the past. ISU isn't at Iowa's level (program-wise) at this point, so I have no issues with ISU.

Now, don't get me going on Becky Badger though!
