Purdue can score points, and God help me, so can nebby. More than MSU.
Nothing will be easy until we get some offense.

I wouldn't be so sure about Purdue or NW. Or Minny for that matter. The rower might turn that game into their superbowl after BF's comments.Nothing has changed since before MSU except Iowa now has a loss to MSU. Before MSU, I was thinking 9-3 or 8-4. Now I am thinking 8-4 or 7-5.
Iowa will probably beat ILL, NW, Minn, purdue and Neb. Iowa will probably lose to Wisc and OSU.

What evidence do you have the defense is all that great? I sure don't see it.Purdue can score points, and God help me, so can nebby. More than MSU.

Nebby could be a pile of stinking crap by late Nov.

This season reminds me of 2013. New QB. Offense that is trying lots of new things. Early loss to MSU team that was supposed to be down.
Stanley reminds me of Rudock, except Stanley is taller, has a stronger arm, and Stanley fumbles more.

You get six, seven, or even eight wins by scheduling three patsies in the preseason. If the head coach is average, it doesn't really matter who the head coach or offensive coordinator are. You can have an average coach and a below average offensive coordinator and still get six, seven, or eight wins.Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota, and Nebraska
No we are not. Especially on the offensive side of the ball.
Who's better than us other than Wiscy and OSU??
Enlighten me who has played great every week?
The Nebraska team that got beat to Northern Ill?
The Northwestern team that got whipped by Duke?
Minnesota lost to Maryland at home.
ILL is trash.
Purdue looks improved but they've yet to win a Big Ten game so I'm far from sold.
And I think we'll compete against a Wiscy.
Granted some of these games are on the road making it more difficult but it's not like we won't win our fair share of games.
Frustrating that the offense always seems to be the weak link holding us back but I hate to see people so harshly rip on Iowa after 2 losses to 2 respectable programs.
Those teams haven't played great EVERY week, but Iowa hasn't played great ANY week.Enlighten me who has played great every week?
I hope you're correct, but I will wait to disparage Illinois until we handily beat them. To date we haven't handily beat anyone. Only a few are being harsh on the players, most are harsh on the OC, and given the offensive production...there is merit to do so.
