Stay with me...

Barack Obama is from Chicago, BIG Bears fan. HUGE.

The Bears are on Fox, which of course wants Mitt Romney to win the presidential election.

Instead, my affiliate will be broadcasting Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half ****s.

Can any other REASONABLE conclusion be drawn except that FOX is politicizing the NFL, in an effort to say, "if Romney wins, I'll get my Bears game?"

Should this impact my vote?

Since it was a home game for the AFC team CBS has the broadcast rights. Now why KGAN decided to show Minnesota verse Tennessee instead of the Bears game is beyond me. I would think Eastern Iowa would be more interested in the Bears over the Vikings.

I see they ****ed you too, then.

The away team in the NFL determines the network the game is broadcast on. Tennessee at Minnesota was on CBS, so Chicago at Jacksonville would be on Fox. Now, why they showed the other game in your area, I have no idea. The website the506.com - NFL map index 2012 shows the games each week and where they are shown.

Well that is screwed up, I had it backwards but it makes sense since Minnesota was at home. I think Fox & CBS flop back and forth as to which gets to show 2 games per week. So if Fox only got to show 1 game then I can see why they picked Packers at Colts as even Bears fans will watch a Packer game (rooting for the other team ofc).

I found the Bears game on the net and streamed it to my TV. Not the greatest quality, but definitely watchable.
