I am starting to think God does favor Tim Tebow.

tebows stats are twice what elways were in his first eight games. elway turned out okay. tebow may not be an elway, but he is a winner and a leader. Vint, I've decided you can go suck eggs.

elway turned out okay.

Because God gave him the arm of a QB.

This isn't the Second Coming that Broncos fans keep waiting for (and chasing other QB's out of town in desperation).

Edit: And boy is the entire AFC pretty much a middle of the road group of teams this year.

THE DRIVE part II. That was impressive like or dislike Tebow. He pretty much did that himself. He's a football player, not a QB...but make no mistake about it he is a football player. Nice win.

oh I know, but, Silv, and it is just like us here with the Hawks, all we want in Denver is to be relevant again. to be in the mix. to have a game to get up for in December. it's been a few years since we went back to back! Tebow just adds a big breath of freshness. it even helps to show us that we have a pretty decent defense as well.

not sure where Tebow gets the magic from, but would'nt it be nice if some of that (okay, alot of that) magic found its way into the hawkeye huddles the next couple of weeks??

We have White Magic in our huddles. Thats all we need. O you are talking football. Forgot we still had a season.

I dunno bout you fellas, but I just heard an NFL QB talk about FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE. Sure sounded nice to me. I think I have found a new favorite NFL team...

welcome aboard kmot. theres plenty of room, we've lost a few off the wagon over the years. but...they are fun to watch, looks like a good coaching change finally, tebow sure helps bring extra excitement, d is good, defense will only get better, great franchise history, and a great, great place to go to a live game.! but also...they will break your heart along the way too.

If tebow was Muslim, he'd be up in the CFL or maybe out of football altogether.

I think we should be talking about Denver's D. They are the real winners.

I don't get how a QB in the pros cant throw a tight spiral. Its like a NBA guard who shoots 60% from the line. Think of all the practices and reps they get and still can't master their trade.

No talent? The guy is big strong and can run like a fullback. Not everyone has those qualities. He also has a don't give up attitude that certainly not every qb has. That to me means almost more then alot of others. He has that "It" factor. If he's on a team that runs that type of O with a solid Oline and rbs/receivers that can make plays why can't they be succesful. Its still football. I don't understand why that style can't work in the NFL and not in college. He may never be Joe Montana but it seems like in todays world everyone is more intrested in how you look and not the results.

Do you remember chris jackson? guy went muslim changed his name and refused to stand during national anthem for a short time in the NBA. If that guy can be in the pros then i think a muslim football player could too. Altho they seem few and far between

I made this point in one of the other tebow threads. Huge difference, as mahmoud abdur-rauf (chris jackson) was demonized and threatened when he exercised his allegedly Constitutionally-protected right to any religious belief/display.
Perhaps you don't recall the public and media outcry about him...but I do.
Polar opposite of the current tebow lovefest.
But christians are so tolerant, right?
