I almost crapped myself

I was impressed with how they played. Very happy to see it too.
My only real question was why did those three get in the game before Archie? I thought Archie had played well in some games this year. Is he dinged up too? I was definately surprised to see Stokes play ahead of Archie, but Stokes really brought it. Couple of good rebounds a nice put back. It was a pleasure to see.

I was surprised and impressed with Stokes too.

He could be a decent role player by the time hes an upper classmen.

Its was especially odd that he was in the game at the same time as Olaseni and Brommer.

I love that France trusts each of his kids to get out there and contribute. I thought the strategy of throwing the entire line up was a great plan. It kept legs fresh and brought constant energy on the court and I think Indiana struggled. Or also has to keep the players happy and interested. To get meaningful minutes, rebounds or points is great to see.

Did anyone notice the sons of the top 2 scorres and 3 sons of former players on the court at the same time? Loved it!

Anyone else harken back to "Hoosiers" when Stubbs was in the game? I could have sworn it was "Ollie". Good thing he didn't have to shoot free throws with the game on the line.

Mike Hlas noticed. :)

I'm actually surprised we haven't seen this yet this year. Given the system Fran likes to run, a bunch of fresh legs like a line change in hockey is kind of the way to go. He didn't go back to it too many times (had to see which guys performed better) but it allowed his horses to stay fresher and keep the pressure on the Hoosiers.
On a related note. I'm glad to see Olaseni getting some minutes. Even if he gets a lot of fouls in, it has the look like he's working at it and showing some dedication to "wanting" to play defense, not the same can be said for everybody. Oglesby's defense last night was also surprising. His defense and ball handling were huge contributions to allow Gatens to be more of a shooter than a driver.
