After Nebraska lost to Colorado, he predicted they would make it to the Big 10 Championship game, now he has predicted the Huskers will win their final two games of the year. The next lottery ticket you buy, you should call him so he can give you the winning numbers:D

"Our final two games, we're gonna win them."

Well they do have a decent shot against Maryland next week. I'm dreading this game, there isn't a win I want more than beating Nebraska. If they beat Maryland they will have a bowl game on the line when they play Iowa.

Isn’t that what EVERY player should think, and, FOR SURE, say?? Has any player ever said, “man, I predict we are gonna go 0-2, or 1-1”, especially when talking to media.

That being said, these last 2 games scare me. Red-hot Illinois and Deby playing for a bowl.

We beat Illinois 63-0 last year. They beat Wisconsin. Big deal. Sconny ain't that good. Illinois is soft in the trenches and will lose. Bigly. 54-9.

Nebraska. This will be an utter asswhooping. 58,000 slack jawed hillbillies from Nebraska will show up on Black Friday, regaling each other with tales of what they got at Sears after waiting in line for 8 hours in freezing weather. "I got some really nice red towels for my bathroom. They match the Husker motif of my house and tie it all together." The media will call the game a sellout despite well over 10,000 empty seats and a massive ticket donation to a charity. 63-2.

We will walk away from these games wondering where the hell that team was all year. I guarantee it. That Minny game was pivotal. If we lost that one, there was an over 50% chance we would lose out, but now, this team has found its mojo and we are going to kick ass the rest of the way. 10-3.

Illinois is hot right now, but has feasted off of turnovers recently. As long as we hold on to the ball, I feel somewhat comfortable in that being a win.

Nebraska, even though they like to talk smack and act like hot shit, is 10-ply soft. If we punch them in the mouth right away, we'll grind them down and blow them out again.

We beat them on a last second field goal last November. We had all kinds of issues trying to stop Martinez, he worries me and especially if NE is playing to get into a bowl game.

They were dead in the water until we decided to get cute and fake a field goal and then they got an inprobable fake punt from their own 10 yard line.

In the previous 3 games before last year, we beat them by an avg margin of like 5 tds.

As long as we don't get cute, I don't see Nebby staying within 2 tds of us....

Blow them out a la 2016 & 2017.

That game was inches away from being another blowout though. First of all we left 6 pts on the field, with the fake FG and Miguel's miss in the 4th quarter, and then gave them 3 free with Moss jumping offsides at the end of the first half (9 pt swing).

Then, Nebraska had to fight and scratch and claw to even make it a game again.

The fake FG happened up 28-13. If we kick it OR go for it, we're up 3 possessions (31-13 or even 35-13 if we get it). That puts MUCH more pressure on Nebby's next drive, during which they converted 3(!) 4th downs and got the help of a pretty bad late hit call.

So that game was much closer to being an Iowa blowout than it was to a Nebraska win.

Add in what SpiderRico said about not getting cute or shooting ourselves in the foot, and that Nebraska and Adrian Martinez have arguably regressed from last season, and I see it as a much more probable victory than the Illinois game.
