Wow, if you've ever even thought about getting into F1, today's race might be the one to watch (it's a great way to kill the summer months till football if you don't find baseball particularly interesting) - replay is on NBCSN at 1 CT.

Track was wet at the start which threw race strategies into total mayhem. The #1 critique I think you can level @ F1 is that, sometimes, the races feel more like an exercise in arithmetic - the drivers are SO precise and the team strategies are so carefully calculated/planned - that it can sometimes turn into a bit of a boat race from green to checker...not so today!

Incredible action throughout (with several spectacular crashes) - almost NASCAR-level position changes - with one of the sport's most exciting new stars having a BIG finish. Positions 1-4 in doubt right up to the last lap - really great racing, check it out if you've got some time to kill this afternoon!

I have been an open wheel racing fan for a very long time. I have been more of a US type USAC/CART/INdy car fan but I will watch and read about F1. The one thing about F1 that I have noticed the past 20-30 years is that it is hard for a lot of teams and drivers to break into that winners circle. F1 has its top one or two cars and drivers who seem to dominate. American open wheel racing has always seemed to have more winners in a season and more easily for a new team to make a challenge.

It has been nice that NBCSN has F1 races.
