Was someone pistol whipped or rapped in said crime?
 
Fran just said he will sign 2 recruits, not specific on position. My guess would be Hubbard and a PG. Will go small next season and have 5 scholly's for 2012 class and get Woodbury and another big with Gessell and some others maybe?
 
Hubbard and a big would make more sense. Marble and Hubbard can both spell Cartwright, and he's good for 35 min a game.

No, they kids were armed that went into the home while Hubbard waited in the car outside. I was just using that as an example to illustrate that obviously some crimes are more serious than others. Hubbard does not excuse it away and admits that it was terrible behavior on his behalf. I like that in a person.

This is great news. I hope we know soon so that we can as a forum take a closer look at the new additions and input on what we feel this does for the team. Go Hawks Go!!!
 
I think the relationship that Fran has with this previous head coach is important. I recall an article that Hubbard's previous head coach said that Hubbard was a good player and a great person. If Fran has a lot of respect and he trusts this coach's opinion it will factor into Fran's impression. I know Fran will spend some time with Hubbard but the previous coach has spent much more time with the young man and has very high praise.

This is kind of late but I still think the relationship between his previous head coach and Fran was important in Fran's decision to offer a scholarship.

Ok, They were just armed but didn't pistol whip anyone with the guns. Did they shoot anybody in the home- did anybody die? Why were they in this house anyway?

They were in the house, probably for the same reason that Sam Mack was in Burger King???

You shouldn't like the fact it happened, but he was given a second chance at a community college and he stayed away from trouble and made grades.

Hopefully it all isn't PR and he is really taking advantage of his second chance.
 
Is today the big day that Hubbard announces? Big day for Fran and the Iowa Basketball program, this recruit could be the bridge to a better future for the hawks. If you get hubbard and couple other players, Fran may turn it around sooner than later.
