Lets see we had musical chairs on the oline for most of the beginning of the season. On top of a new center . the only tight end with any experience was out most of the season or playing with lingering injuries. All of our top receiving targets from last year left and the only one our quarterback seemed to have bothered to do any off season work with got hurt early in the year.
I also think people forget these kids have class and tests and aren't just practicing and watching film 24/7. Personally I think it's easy to see why our offense struggled most of the year. If your defensive issues early were due to being on the field the whole game because of our offense or people not playing their hardest every down I can't say.
