Howe: Special Season Despite Crash Landing

Nope. Tonight undid all the good that was accomplished this year. No shame in losing but when you look like a high school team, we just proved all the doubters right and then some. 100% products of our weak *** schedule.
 
Most tainted 12 win season ever with the ending to it. But, most of us thought 6-6 so they did better than that. Meh.
 
I thought this game was an exhibition and didn't matter so why are we so weird and angry?
 
Was still a fun season but it was a lot better two games ago... Iowa was completely uncompetitive today.
 
If you can still call a season "special" when you don't win your conference and you get blown out in your bowl game...that pretty much cements Iowa as a second-tier program, right?

It COULD HAVE BEEN a special season. It was a nice season.
 
Meh, in terms of memories created and entertainment created for myself they were special. Sure they won nothing but i would get no trophies regardless so oh well. This season was so much fun and ultimately entertainment for me is all i get out of watching sports anyway so it's all good.

Never thought 12-2 would feel so hollow.

The comments I see are absolutely pathetic.. As for Mike23 you need to be booted from HN, the stuff you say to others is downright despicable!!!

Meh. We'll do okay in our division of the conference when we have an easy schedule like this year, which is like saying your the tallest midget, but other than that we won't do much. Unless KF somehow learns how to recruit some talent. Just not going to cut it bringing in the types of players he is getting.
 
Man, I tossed up something awhile back about this team feeling like one of those old Big East teams that had a remarkable record and then the wheels came off once they played someone. I was uniformly dismissed by the posterati on this board. Welp, this team is who I thought they were. Remember, this team is a Wisconsin goalline fumble and 4 Tommy Armstrong picks away from prolly the Outback Bowl.

Doctor's offices gonna be crowded on Monday....an epidemic of "Buyer's Remorse" is about to hit 55K Iowans....

Well, at least we won't have to hear your undying support for basketball officiating.
 
Not to mention the fact that sooner or later our schedule gets tougher, and KF and his poor recruiting again gets exposed....much like it was the last two (2) games.
