so if I counted correctly, that adds up to 9-3 overall and 7-2 in conference, with losses to ISU, Wiscy and Minny.
so does Iowa once again finish 2nd in the west?
Which means second. Have to beat Wisconsin to win the West...even if they lose 1 or 2imo, 7-2 wins the division. Worst case scenario you tie for first and it comes down to tiebreakers.

Agreed. Hoping to push back against what you were saying I took a look at Wisconsin's schedule...unless Mertz is total dogshit and they lose 3 or 4 conference games it really does look like it will take beating Wisconsin to win the West.
Look back over the history of the rivalry, regardless of the current state of the programs, and you won't find too many winning streaks either way of five games or more.Minnesota beating Iowa? Really?
Being that it is at home I find a gopher victory hard to swallow.Look back over the history of the rivalry, regardless of the current state of the programs, and you won't find too many winning streaks either way of five games or more.
We are now on a six game heater against them.
Why should Iowa ever lose to rodents? We're due to lose to Minnesota, but I think we win in Madison.
There must be something about Admiral Fleck that Captain Kirk is exploiting. They seem to have more talent than us but Ferentz is coaching rings around him in recent head to head match-ups. By the fourth quarter of last year's Friday night lights game the Gophs were crying "no mas".
See my above post. But Ferentz seems to have PJ''s number. One year he will win a shootout, the next a defensive struggle, the next Stanley goes wild and the coaches reach into their bag of tricks. Why should Iowa ever lose to rodents?
