Serious question -- if there are 5-10k empty seats each game do you think that has an impact?

Not as much as it did 5 years ago before the TV money got crazy. It depends on what the Athletic Dept budgets for attendance. If they budget for 69k/game and we get 65k/game, it'll have an impact. If they budget for 65k and we get 65k, there won't be an impact....

Can we put to rest the myth that Iowa gets better as the season progresses? Also for a 'developmental' program with a coach in his 19th year, which is an excuse for sucking, we sure aren't developing anymore. This entire staff needs to go, period.

2016 - better at end of year
2017 - worse at end of year

In the last 8 years, we've only had 2 teams that you could make an argument were better at the end of the year than they were at the start. That's a piss-poor result for a team that claims to be "developmental"....
