Howe: Even on Off Night, Hawkeyes Show Toughness

From the start it felt like a pick up game. Hard to play with the level of intensity the team has played with in some big games this year every night. As a coach you can't try to fire them up or you lose credibility. Just go in take care of business and move on. It was a little lazy and a little sloppy, but I have confidence they will bring their A game Sunday.

I am perfectly fine with how they won last night. They had an off night and still won by double digits and scored 90 points. Thats a pretty good alternative to the nail biters that have often resulted in losses in the recent past. What is our overall strength of schedule? Top five nationally isn't it? Tops in the Big ten right? We are fine.

OK, I'll be the one to say it... Woodbury was the game changer that night and I hope he changed the minds of many who think he doesn't belong on the court.
