I wonder how much heat these new rubber turf fields hold on a hot, sunny day? Sideline reporter at the Wisconsin game picked up 120 degrees coming off the turf, yesterday.

I like running on local high school/college tracks as a change of pace but avoid them like the plague during afternoons in the summer.

A 110-120° surface temperature on those field turf surfaces with the ground-up rubber base is more than attainable in my opinion.

Watched it live. It would be a huge loss. He is a problem for most teams. It was right after he went down that BYU executed the double pass for a TD.
