We will not be favored.. Maybe 3-5 point dogs? Please please please don't let Iowa be favored in this game.
Vegas isn’t “sold” on any team. They pick the most likely outcome to be profitable from any given game. Obviously Wisconsin will be favored, that’s not a big deal. Being close in spread to ISU is no big deal, we always are, both in good and bad years. There’s no profit in that spread not being close. Vegas understands that that game is a coin flip in any given year and that they stand to make the most money on average by keeping the betting pretty evenly split. At the end of the day the Hawks are 3-0 straight-up and against the spread and about to play there biggest roadblock under very favorable conditions. We will not be favored.. Maybe 3-5 point dogs?
We were barely favored over the Cyclowns.
Wisconsin was favored over BYU by a bigger spread than Iowa was over UNI.
Vegas not sold on the Hawks at all.
Seems strange. How does one player “let” another play? It’s really not his call to make.So Hesse really didn't play much after the 1st Q against UNI, and I see Rob interviewed him after the game. I have heard it was AJ's birthday and Hesse let him pretty much play the entire UNI game as a b-day gift. I wonder if this is true?
goes to the D-Line coach and asks. IDK, just what I heard.Seems strange. How does one player “let” another play? It’s really not his call to make.
This is exactly how it works. The coach has the opportunity to deny the request, if he believes it will hurt the team. In Eppy's case, I doubt he would deny the request.goes to the D-Line coach and asks. IDK, just what I heard.
Near the end of the game, AJ look a bit gassed. Probably good he played so much, he can't be gassed against the BadgersThere was no need to play Hesse was the game was comfortably in hand, which was early third quarter. AJE needs the reps to work on containment. It was a win-win.

I wonder how much heat these new rubber turf fields hold on a hot, sunny day? Sideline reporter at the Wisconsin game picked up 120 degrees coming off the turf, yesterday. It was very humid last night, even at the end of the game.
The depth on the defensive line is the biggest strength of this team. I like playing eight guys. It's an advantage.

That is perfect football weather. The weather forecast for now has low 70's day time and in the 50's at night for the Badgers game. Sounds like perfect weather for football.
