Howard has really hurt Butler tonight

He has done almost nothing when he gets the ball other than a missed shot or a turnover. The Butler shooting has been bad, but they are not getting that inside production from him.....

They would not be there if it were not for him... I feel bad for him, it sucks going out like this.

Howard couldn't do anything on the glass. He gets a lot of garbage points normally. Andrew Smith was terrible for Butler. With his size, he was the only guy that could isolate in the post against UCONN. Smith had plenty of time, no double-teams, he just didn't have the game to score against UCONN's bigs.

Who didn't hurt Butler tonight? Aside from Mack their guards are garbage on offense. They've got this far in the tournament with Mack and Howard scoring and everyone else just playing great D, which they did again tonight, it only they could make a shot.

What Mike said. Who was good? That kid who hit 3 3 point shots, other than that.......

Brutal - how many layups can one team miss!!??

My point is you need your leaders to step up. I think Howard being shut down/lack of production really hurt them. If your outside shooting is not on, you better have your inside game going.....

UConn got the pace they wanted, and Butler looked hurried and pressured all night. Their shots reflected it. They looked good sometimes...but they were hurried.

No tempo or flow to the game. Awful shooting. Ugly, ugly, boring game.
Real shame because the tourney was so fun. What a dud of a championship game.

Makes me appreciate the BCS just a little bit. You at least know in that game that you have two of the best teams playing for the title.

A performance like Butlers last night is sometimes the tradeoff for a fantastic tournament run. Great for 3 weeks then lay a total egg in the big one.

A Kansas-Ohio St final doesn't sound bad at all now.
