How will wind affect the game?

Seems it is suppose to be pretty windy for Saturday afternoon with winds coming out of the W/NW at 13 MPH. Does anybody know what the winds were like for the Indiana game last year and if that will be pretty similar to this Saturday?

I don't recall exactly but I think the winds were in the twenties and/or thirties in that IU game.

I don't think 13 MPH will affect this game much.

A lot of wind would affect both passers. I don't think more wind would be an advantage to either team. It would just be a big variable maybe produce more of a ground game.

To tell how stupid I am, I didn't know if 13 was windy or not. That is why I was just trying to get a gauge on the Indiana game from last year, which I know was windy.

I think Ind last year was gusts over 30. It was ridiculously windy...doesnt sound like the weather this week will play a factor

forecast this am was rain in the am. Kickoff 73% with light winds. Any bad weather should pass by 10 or 11 according to the am forecast.

A really windy game would favor ISU's O more. Fortunately, Iowa has been working on the shorter passing game ... so that the O wouldn't be quite as hamstrung.
