That is all they have ever beat is bad FBS teams. It isn't like they have played Alabama and won. Iowa was probably the best team on paper they have played and as it turns out, we aren't good.

They were, by a decent margin, the best team we've played so far though. When it all said and done, we will have at least 2 more losses worse than the loss to NDSU. We already have one. Prior to the season, I thought a loss to NDSU would be the worst loss we could have....I don't believe that now.
I've watched them 3 times, they likely would finish in the top half of the conference this year, maybe top 5 last year.
They have a higher national rank than Iowa. That says far worse about Iowa than them.

Iowa losing to these inferior opponents is an Iowa problem, and little to do with NDSU or jNW, and soon to be Minnesota. Iowa is a very poor football team and most of their losses this year are already decided before the first snap, because they cannot even put a legitimate D1 product on the field. Historically, Iowa puts up a good fight against 90%+ of their opponents. This year, Ferentz has lost his games against poor competition because he's lost significant battles on the recruiting trail from January-August. The fact that Iowa cannot put a better LB on the field than Bo Bower gives you an immediate picture of the dismal state of affairs that is Iowa football recruiting. Absolutely pathetic.

How ironic, you retort to direct attacks on the scum of barrel. 12-0 was a team of sound chemistry, a favorable schedule, and a few bounces, as in any season, that allows you to win that maybe you would've otherwise lost (eg, Wisconsin). You act like we were blowing our opponents off the field, give it a rest. And your comprehension is poor. Bo Bower is not The problem of the defense, he's merely representative of development of key positions that have not fit the bill for adequate Big 10 success. Recall that he was passed on the depth chart last year and this year he's the guy. Other positions have either stayed the same or in some cases regressed (safety). How many players from 12-0 are playing on NFL rosters right now? How many on this team, many of whom returned, will be playing on Sunday's? Not many other than King and maybe Jaleel. This is a site for fans to discuss their opinions. Your opinion is no more or less valid than mine. But direct attacks because you disagree or that you're a "true fan" is just garbage and that's why traffic on these sites isn't higher due to hostile posters like yourself trying to act like you have it all figured out. You simply don't know how to construct dialogue when you don't agree with something. And no need to question my fandom, born and raised a Hawkeye and proud alum. Thank you.
