How many touches at RB does Garmon get?

Garmon will get about 20 touches after Bullock tears his ACL in the first quarter and Malloy is sidelined with a concussion in the second. AIRBHG watches - AIRBHG sees.........

I'd like to see them put both Garmon and Bullock in at the same time, they've said Garmon catches the ball well, split the backs, run a swing to Garmon and get him out put him in some space to where he can make a couple guys miss, also if they are both in the game it can create mismatches, make the linebackers account for both or bring up a safety, opens up the field for CJF in the middle of the field or a WR down he field, like most I thought we were going to see them open it up more and throw it around.

4 carries for 8 yds. Agree that if he is dynamic player needs to get touches just not sure they should be between the tackles yet.

Bingo! Garmon has no experience running between the tackles. His high school coached kind of screwed him with a gimmick offense. It takes a lot of reps to learn the necessary patience and vision to run between the tackles.

Garmon needs to get used like Reggie Bush when he and Lendale White were both at USC, or Percy Harvin at Florida. Find a way to get him about ten touches a game in space. One good option would be double curl patterns for him and Bullock.

Of course that would require JV to quickly get through progressions, so...

Podolak felt that the field conditions in Chicago helped to limit Garmon's reps, as well as how hot Bullock was. He feels Garmon will fare much better on turf like what is in place in Kinnick.

He looked like a freshman. a little skinny. Bullock will be the workhorse. Garmon will get 5 or 6 carries. He's not ready for more than that at this point.

I agree. Bullock looks really solid. And I like his style, swag out on the field. He isn't some blatant celebrator, but he looks like he's having fun.

Anyways, like I said I agree that Bullock will be a 'workhorse' type like we saw. But he only weighs 195 on the official roster, and he might be less than that at this point. That scares me.

Garmon will get more and more touches as the year goes on because he will continue to learn how to run in the zone blocking scheme. I still think Bullock will get the majority of the carries for the season but I bet it the carries per game start to even out as the year goes on.

Is this the same Podolak who said NIU was going to be one of the best defenses the Hawks face all season?
