How many teams lose games where

Indiana had 7 less TO's and made 14 3's in a 2 point game. That's pretty much the whole problem right there.
33-20 rebounding margin = 13 more possessions. 17-10 turn over margin = 7 less possessions. For a +6 in possessions. 19 made FTs vs 6 made FTs = 13 pts more for Iowa than Indiana. Lets not ignore the 9 - 3pt shots we made. 14 for Indiana vs 9 for Iowa = 15 pt differential. That's practically erased by the 13 pt made FT differential.
....you sure about your "calculations"?

I would love to see Fran's record in games decided by 2 or 3 points or less.
This is going strictly off of 3 points or less. FYI: There were a lot more losses by 4 points than wins.

2010/11= 2-5
2011/12= 3-1
2012/13= 1-4
2013/14= 1-3
2014/15= 1-1
2015/16= 2-3 (I didn't count the exhibition loss to Augustana 74-76)
2016/17= 2-2
2017/18 so far= 0-2

Total by 3 points or less= 12-21

Record W/L by 4 points is 4-10.

Total by 4 points or less= 16-31

Wow! That's an amazing stat. Really, you should be 50% in those games. That is ridiculous.

If we would have won half of them, it would have been good for an average of one more win per year. If we could have won one more game each year, we would have made the tourney 5 years ago, not been in the play in game 4 years ago, probably wouldn't have been up against a 2 seed 3 and 2 years ago, and would have made the tourney last year.
