i do to, but i get the feeling KF doesn't one has evident by Derbies desire to be a QB and him having leave so he can do just that.
we dont need a dual threat qb. our best type would be a qb that can keep the play alive with his feet not a runner but a scrambler that is accurate. we run a pro style offense. i understand everybody think banks was great but as a pure qb he was average at best and derby didnt have his skills. the players banks had around him was the best accumulated talent ive seen at iowa...ever. he had a scaled down passing offense and wrs that could separate like no other. not to mention one of the best college lines you could assemble. give me drew tate in with that same group and he puts up better numbers every game. tate was a scrambler that could also drop back. banks was a runner who never got pressure on him (making his throws easy). derby wasnt anywhere near banks and banks wasnt as good as he looked.
