How many of you were aware MLB Opener is Wednesday?

Baseball is boring but the game with about 11 minutes of action in 3 hours of watching is awesome.

I'll be honest about what I'm excited for this season. I actually will have a chance to see some kids play for the I-Cubs that will mean something to the organization (Jackson, Rizzo, and a few pitchers like Jackson, McNutt etc.). I know the Cubs aren't going to be good this year, I think they will improve over last year though, and in the near future being a cubs fan could be very exciting.

I agree completely with you on this. I haven't caught as many I-Cubs games the past few seasons as I usually do because they haven't had anyone worth watching. It's been a collection of triple A/"quadruple A" type players who were never going to amount to anything in the majors. Now they actually have some exciting young players to watch, and with my wife being able to get I-Cubs tickets for free pretty much whenever she wants we will definitely be catching a lot of games this season.
