how many of you tried "controlled substances" in college

I'm a current student at Iowa. I don't drink (I've had 3 sips of beer in my life: once at age 7, and twice in the past year

I can respect that as I pretty much quit drinking almost twenty years ago. I would assume you have to be in a pretty small minority of Iowa students who don't drink?

Smoked weed occaisionally both in high school, in college, and since.. Haven't for a few years though. I never have and would never try anything harder than that though. I personally don't see the harm a little weed as long as you "smoke responsibly" and don't go out driving, etcl, just like with the drink.

Guess I don't really see why weed should be illegal if alcohol is legal.. Is alcohol any less harmful to your health? How many alcohol related accidents and "incidents" do you see? Seems like alot.

It just seems to crazy to me to lump MJ in with other substances like cocaine, heroin, etc. under the category of "drugs". To me, smoking a joint and jabbing a vein are two VASTLY different things. I'd smoke just to have a good time, but have no desire to ruin (or end) my life by doing anything more than that.

Yeah I don't know very many people up here who don't drink. But I still find ways to have fun, and being the DD isn't so bad.
