LOL....I thought this was a football question when I voted two. Forgot where I was at. However I think 2 works for basketball as well. Woody is a given and I think White gets a shot after his senior season. Hopefully, by then he's added another 15 lbs of muscle and has tightened up his jump shot and 3 ball. If he keeps progressing like he has, it's a realistic possibility. I wanted to include Marble, but I need to see more games like he had against UNI in the B1G before I lump him in there. He's close though.
 
I have to say 1...woody is the only legit shot at this point.

Marble is the next most likely especially if his 3 pt shot keeps developing and he keeps showing this latest efforts on the defensive side. But he needs 1 more yr of this to have a shot.

White is the next likely canidate. But he has more than marble to sure up. He either needs to develop a better wing game so he can be a 6'8 wing or and size and more back to the basket abilities to be a legit 4. Though I feel his game is tailor made for the 4 spot in europe.

The rest do have much shot...jok and uthoff are the other likely possibilites from next yr's roster...jok more so than uthoff (imo) but both have skillsets that can develop.

So you don't think white will improve in the next 2.5 seasons?

To be honest I think his numbers will improve and he will get better in some areas but I don't think he will improve enough to get drafted. Some people's games are better set for college and some for the nba...white's game (imo) is a better fit for the college style and the european basketball style.
 
Remember this... JR Koch was a second round pick. Granted some things have changed in that the league is MUCH more international now, but also remember HS kids aren't eligible anymore.

IMO, that would have only affected one draft class. The first group of incoming freshman that had to play a year of college ball made it a little more likely for someone to get drafted that year.

Now you just have a bunch of one and dones instead of high school seniors that will be in the draft and these one and dones are more than likely the same guys that would have declared straight out of high school.
 
I know we would all love to see Iowa start producing NBA players. But the downside is if any of these players are good enough to play in the NBA it is unlikely they will stay all 4 years and graduate. Hopefully Fran can get this program established by then and keep the recruiting pipeline full.
