How many here actually went to Iowa?

Born and bred in GODs country... Graduated in 87 after a cpl years playing NAIA fball and bball.
My decision to transfer was based on whether I got student fball tix :D... (Screw school, that was easy to get accepted!)
Back when Iowa was #1 in both! It was glorious! On the field after Hawks 12-Mich 10!
Just too small to continue sports at that level but one of my high school bball coaches had moved down there and hooked up with him for some fantastic Sunday am bball games playing with Randy Larson and others. He even got me into N Gym one time ... Closed door ... I was running with Kenny Arnold and guarding Steve f-ing Carfino! Sir Jamalot drove down lane and I almost touched his forearm as he dunked and the ball bounced off my head!:D:D:D
It was f-ing.awesome!!

Great post!

Grandfather graduated UofI and became a dentist in Cedar Rapids, he loved Evashevski. RIP grandpa. My father and uncle also graduated from UofI. Dad is a member of the same fraternity as Kinnick. Took me to football and basketball games with his season tickets for years. I was a part of many Hawkeye basketball camps.
