How Many Games Will Iowa Be Favored?

How many games will Iowa be favored to win this fall?

After the spring practice my friend Denny and I looked at the 12 game schedule and concluded Iowa may be the favorite in 11 of the 12 with Ohio State being the only game Iowa might be the underdog.

Your thoughts?

I would have to agree. OSU is the only team I can see really see being favored. Depending on how things shake out, maybe a slight possibility of Wisky, but I doubt it.

I could see the Iowa-OSU game being Iowa by less than a field goal. Depends on how things are looking going into that.

was just talking with a friend today, and can you imagine Iowa and Ohio State both being 10-0 heading into that game? I think we'd be talking about the biggest game in Iowa football history

John,

The last biggest game of the year, iowa got spanked by ohio st can we please not bring that up.

I think it might be the #1 vs. #2 if we are both 10-0 going into that game. I would think that the biggest game in Iowa history would be very likely.......if we win......get out of the way.

I was at the last big Iowa/Ohio St game. Ohio st was number one, iowa i think like 8 or 9. It was a night game with gold towels it was an electric game. Would love another one. I think even KF say something about have goose bumps when came out of tunnel.

For that to happen, Alabama is going to have to stumble somewhere (hopefully against Penn State, which would make the atmosphere for that game even more electric). They have several games where that could happen: PSU at home, at Arkansas, Florida at home, at South Carolina (I think they finally break through this year), and at LSU. The odds of making it through all of that unscathed is unlikely.

If it IS #1 vs. #2, I won't be drinking at the tailgate (don't drink anyway). I'll want to be as sober as can be for that one. I want to remember every last detail of that day. The pregame, the roar when "Back in Black" comes on, everything. And I'd take that experience to my grave.

If your talking about the last biggest game at Kinnick then I agree, otherwise last years game at OSU was pretty damn big with the Rose Bowl at stake and Iowa hardly got spanked even with the back up QB.
