How long before....

I think it's been revisited after this loss, everyone has tempered their expectations and probably a few ppl realized that if you don't cheer for AL, OSU, FL, OK, TX, USC, BSU, TCU (not necessarily all this year but year in year out) that predicting an undefeated season or one loss season is a losing pick.

I guess I was not to off the mark here:

"Arizona 31 IOWA 21 I agree a very pivotal game. I think this is one of two speed bumps that stands out for me. If Iowa comes out of the desert with a W, the sky is the limit. Unfortunately, strange things happen when Big Ten teams play out west in the preseason. I think Ferentz will have the team more prepared as compared to the disaster that happened with ASU back in 04, but Arizona has this game marked. Iowa does too, but Arizona will be a better football team than we played last year. Arizona will also have two night games under its belt before they play Iowa. I don't think the defense will give up long drives, but offensive turnovers (and special teams) will result in several Arizona touchdowns."

Oh sure, put it in quotes to make it look like you were Clair Voyant. SP? Here was my prediction......

"Iowa will have to whether the storm of a very spirited AZ team. I think they'll likely score enough to win but errors in the kicking game and a few non-catches by the receivers will have a huge impact on the game and Iowa will come away one touchdown short. I think Iowa 27, Arizona 34."

Damn, I'm good.:)

I said it then (page 4) and re-reading it, just amazes me how much kool-aid people were drinking. I had Iowa at 10-2 but did not think we would lose to AZ

I would change my prediction 9-3 after the loss Saturday
