How long before Kinnick starts seeing empty seats?

Will it be next week, next month, or next year. Or will somebody else just gobble up those tickets and Kinnick will continue to be a sell out. I would say the student section will be the 1st to see vacant seats. When will the rest follow?

As much as it pains me to say it, I'll be in those bleachers regardless of how well the team is playing. I love the sport and I love to get the opportunity to get away from home on Saturday's during the fall. I get that people are upset and they should be, but to alot of us it's about more than simply winning and losing, it's an escape from day to day life. As much as I hate days like today I'd rather be in those stands then any where else.

I've had two back surgeries the past two seasons that have caused me to miss the last three home games the past two years and to be honest, not being there hurts regardless of how the team is playing. My backs in good shape this time around and I no longer take Saturday's for granted and simply try to enjoy every saturday.

Great perspective...I'll say I'm "selling the tickets" but in reality I love football saturday's too much to ever give it up. Basketball was easy to give up...because if the product isn't good...there is nothing else about basketball games that brings me to CHA. But football is about socializing, grilling, drinking with friends and family.

I can say I will be there for every home game. These guys really need the support. The booing the players isn't helping anyone. I never expected this team to go undefeated, there's still a lot of games left and there is plenty of time to get things going in the right direction. This team is being forced to grow up fast and it shows. I am as disappointed as anybody after sitting at the game and having the triple gut punch that was the onside kick, penalty and field goal, but I wont be skipping out on the rest of the year.

Aside from the student section I just don't see Kinnick having too many empty seats ever.

I'd guess during the pre-conference next year.
This.
And perhaps this season on a frigid Saturday against a crappy conference opponent that we should beat but probably screw it up someway, somehow.

When you lose to crap teams you deserve to get boo'd off the field, while the coaches deserve to be fired.

No college team deserves to get boo-ed by its fans.

Except for Notre Dame.
And Minnesota.
And especially Nebraska.

There was booing today, but it was for the officials, and in support of the team.

The crowd was fantastic today. Very, very loud when it counted. We're all disappointed, but there is hope.

I don't know if it's because there ain't much to do in Iowa, but some of you become nearly suicidal after a loss like this, and it's kinda sad.

The hawks will improve, and probably be pretty good the next couple of years (although this year will probably be rough)....probably. I think they'll surprise some teams.

IMHO I don't think the fans were booing the players. I tend to believe they were booing the officials as well as the coaching staff.

Real fans are murder-suicidal.

Then I am uber-fan cuz after the 4th personal foul (as the CMU guy was banging Gagglione's body into the ground like WWE Raw) I was screaming that the ref's should not get be let out of the stadium. Half that crew should have been killed and the other half committ suicide out of fear they were about to get killed.

True story, man. And I'm proud I was able to demonstrate my support for the team!
